ought to point out a little known fact that Semites include Arabs,
Akkadians, Cannaanites, some Ethiopeans, and Aframaean tribes including
Hebrews, but like most modern living, historical fact as well as the
word has been narrowed down to just mean Jewish, which is blatantly
incorrect.
The Semitic tribes migrated from the Arabian Peninsula, beginning
c.2500 BC, to the Mediterranean coast, Mesopotamia, and the Nile delta.
In Phonecia, they became seafarers. In Mesopotamia they blended with
the civilization of Sumer. The Hebrews settled at last, with other
Semites, in Palestine. So, Semite is both Arab and Jew, which
begs the question as to who exactly are the 'chosen people' . . .
