SINCE THE 'END' OF THE WAR, IRAQ's WEALTH, in the form of OIL & BANKING has been actively PRIVATISED, for 'privatised'  read usurped, mostly by Anglo/American Corporations. Meanwhile, the Americans have established over 15 bases countrywide and built a fortress/embassy bigger than the Vatican, in the heart of Bhagdad, and even though the Iranians complied with a recent I.A.E.A. inspection, which found that they had nothing to hide and were NOT developing nuclear weapons of any kind, Dick Cheney continues to threaten invasion of Iran, totally contrary to the U.S. Constitution which states that it is a 'high' crime to verbally threaten or instigate war against another sovereign nation. It is an impeachable offence, of which he has committed at least 10 at the last count! - Keep an eye on Dennis Kucinich, Democrats.com and Downsize DC.org in their very valiant efforts to correct this 'anomaly'! Also take a look at David Swanson's work in  holding Congress accountable with his "stop-loss" program and Senator Wexler's House Judiciary Impeachment proceedings (instigated originally by Dennis Kucinich).
Have you noticed the destabilization going on north and south of Iran: Turkey and Pakistan. Keep your eyes on these two as they would make for a great military pincer movement, north to south and across from the west, and as we all know America has bases everywhere . .
It has also been worked out that the spillage from the USA's use of depleted uranium weapons* would focus primarily on.... yes you've guessed it: IRAN -  never mind the clouds of stuff reaching Europe!
